Welcome to Sawnee Mountain Preserve located in Cumming, Georgia.

Wildlife: Sawnee Mountain Preserve helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including, squirrels, rabbits, deer, raccoons, wild turkeys, red-tailed hawks, screech owls, and great horned owls. Please treat their home with respect.

This is one of the largest and most diverse parks in Forsyth County at neatly 1,000 acres in size. The staff here offer classes in activities such as rappelling, rock climbing, backpacking, botany, and birding. The visitor can come out to enjoy the more than 10 miles of trails as well as the beautiful views on top of Sawnee Mountain. Come on out and explore.
