Welcome to the beautiful Forsyth Park located in Savannah, Georgia. This park is named for John Forsyth who served as 33rd Governor of Georgia. Perhaps this park's most famous feature is it's magnificent fountain which was first built in 1858 and modeled after a fountain in Paris known as "Place de la Concorde." In addition to the fountain there are also athletic courts, a multipurpose field, and two playgrounds for the kids. The athletic courts are lighted so people can play at night.
