Welcome to Georgia's beautiful George L. Smith State Park, a wetland preserve located just off of Interstate 16 near Twin City. Some of this park's more unique features include historic structures that date back to 1880 including a grist mill, dam, and covered bridge. There are over seven miles of multipurpose trails just waiting to be explored.

Boating: The 412 acre lake has a 10 horsepower limit on motors. The park even rents out non-motorized watercraft. Come out and do some exploring.

Camping and Lodging: There are 18 campsites for both tents and RV's. For those who would rather stay indoors the park also has 8 cottages. Come out and stay a few nights.

Wildlife: Some of the wildlife at George L. Smith State Park include ducks, blue herons, raccoons, squirrels, white-tailed deer, and gopher tortoises. Please treat their home with respect when visiting.
