Welcome to Oconee County's beautiful Heritage Park located on the banks of the Appalachee River in Watkinsville, Georgia. This is mostly a natural park and gives wildlife habitat to otters, white-tailed deer, snapping turtles, blue herons, foxes, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and many others. For the human visitor there are hiking trails to be explored.
