Sargent Park is a large neighborhood park located in Des Moines, Iowa on the banks of Four Mile Creek. One of the more unique features of this park is the fact that it is home to the first natural playscape in the City of Des Moines. This natural playground has a hollow tree climb, a climbing rock, a sand box, a sundial, and many other fascinating surprises. Aside from the playground the park also has an open air picnic shelter, a paved multipurpose trail, and more.

*No littering, please place all trash in proper containers, they are there for a reason. Please help keep Des Moines City Parks clean.
*All parks open at 6 a.m. and close 30 minutes past dusk.
*The following activities are only allowed in designated areas; boating, flying remote-controlled aircraft, golfing, swimming.
