Hanging Rock Park is a beautiful protected oasis on the banks of the Raccoon River in Redfield, Iowa. Hanging Rock itself is made out of sandstone and was even used as a landmark for western wagon parties. Today this park offers many multipurpose trails and fabulous canoeing opportunities. The nearest boat ramp is upstream at the Redfield Dam. To discuss reserving a picnic shelter please call 515-465-3577.
