Welcome to Iowa's Lake Macbride State Park located on the shores of Lake Macbride near Solon. Lake Macbride itself is over 800 acres of aquatic recreation. Many fisherman come here to catch walleye, bass, crappie, and many others. One can spend the day water-skiing as well.

This park was first established in 1937 after a local citizen named J.N. Darling advocated for it's creation. It has been a popular recreation area for many decades. 38 of the park's campsites have electricity. To contact the park office please call 319-624-2200.
