Welcome to Camel's Back Park nestled at the foot of the Boise foothills of the Rocky Mountains.
Park History: The land that is now Camel's Back park was first purchased in 1932 from a man named Bernard Lemp, a relative of one of the former mayors of Boise. Over the years organizations such as the Rotary Club, Idaho National Guard, Boise Jaycees, and Optimist Club helped to develop the park's amenities. In 1965 the park was officially dedicated.
Today this park boasts four tennis courts, a playground for the kids, a volleyball court, practice fields, and a picnic area. Come on out and have fun. It is also a nice place for kite-flying on windy days. This park was RecPlanet place of the day on October 2, 2014.
