Welcome to Municipal Park located in Boise, Idaho along the Boise River Greenbelt. In 1910 this land was slated to become a baseball stadium after it was purchased by the Boise School District but instead became the Boise Tourist Park Campground. This campground boasted a communal kitchen, a car wash, a laundry area, a playground for the kids, and over 6,000 visitors annually. After the first World War, the park faced new challenges as the number of visitors to the campground skyrocketed to 20,000 cars a yaer. In 1927 the land was purchased by the City of Boise and turned into Municipal Park. Today this park's rentable facilities are popular for company outings and family reunions. Come on out and have fun!
