Welcome to the beautiful Oregon Trail Preserve in Boise, Idaho. This park is managed in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management and the City of Boise. One can come out and see historic remains of the Oregon Trail and also get a very nice view of the Boise Front. This park is a great place for kite-flying on windy days.

Boise Idaho Park Rules
*The following are prohibited; littering, defacing public property, harming wild animals, gambling.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; horseback riding, organized athletic play, fires, motor vehicles, swimming, fishing.
*The following require special permits; hot air balloons, overnight camping, use of metal detectors.
*All dogs must be leashed and waste removed.
