Welcome to the home of North America's largest hardstem bulrush marsh, the majestic Grays Lake National Wildlife Refuge, nestled in a high mountain valley in southeastern Idaho. Gray's Lake National Wildlife Refuge was established in 1965 in order to protect the habitat of migratory birds and resident wildlife.

Wildlife: Grays Lake National Wildlife Refuge helps protect the home of over 200 species of wild critters including sandhill cranes, ducks, geese, hawks, falcons, snipes, badgers, squirrels, mule deer, elk, and moose. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this refuge boasts awesome view of the surrounding mountains, beautiful foliage in the fall, multipurpose trails open year round, and so much more. Come on out and have a blast!
