Welcome to Meacham Grove Forest Preserve, a forest and wetland oasis near Bloomingdale, Illinois on the banks of Spring Brook Creek.  

Flora and Fauna: Meacham Grove Forest Preserve helps protect the home of numerous plant and animals species. Some of the plants that grow inside the preserve boundaries include maples, oaks, and wildflowers. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include squirrels, raccoons, egrets, beavers, dragonflies, and chorus frogs. Please treat their home with respect.  

For the lover of the outdoors Meacham Grove Forest Preserve boasts a 32 acre fishing lake stocked with bass, catfish, bluegill, and crappie (must have license if you are 16 or older), several picnic tables, a 1.7 mile multipurpose trail, and so much more. Come on out and explore.
