Welcome to one of the older parks in Cary, Illinois, the beautiful Jamesway Park. The village first purchased this land in 1974 and it is believed that this site was once an operating quarry in the early 20th century. Today it has been restored to a state of nature and helps protect the home of many plants and animals.

Cary, Illinois Park Ordinances
*All parks open at dawn and close at dusk except for lighted areas which close at 11 p.m.
*All children ages 5 and up must use restroom of their designated sex.
*The following are all prohibited; foul language, boisterious behavior, defacing public property, dumping, littering.
*The following activities require special permit; overnight camping, consumption of alcoholic beverages, sales and solicitations.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws.
