Welcome to Adams Park in Chicago, Illinois. This small urban green space was purchased from it's previous owner Paul Cornell in 1881 and the park was designed by famous landscape architect Jens Jensen. The origin of the name Adams remains a mystery but people believe it was named for a John Adams but not the President John Adams.
