Welcome to Chicago's Challenger Playlot Park located in the Uptown area. This park was first established in the early 1990's at the efforts of mayor Richard Daley. What was once an alleyway is now an active urban dog park. It is named in memory of those who died in the space shuttle Challenger disaster in 1986.
