Welcome to Chicago's Gately Park located in the Pullman Community. This was one of many urban parks that were established in order to meet the growing recreational needs of the post World War II generation. The park is named for James Gately who was a local businessmen and eventually member of the parks commission. The park's community center offers many seasonal sports as well as day camps during the summer.
