Welcome to Kenmore Playlot Park located in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. This park was one of many to be created to meet the recreational spaces demand that surged after World War II. Kenmore was the name of the Fredericksburg, Virginia estate of Revolutionary War Colonel Fielding Lewis, who was brother-in-law to President George Washington.
