Welcome to Chicago's magnificent Marquette Park located in the Chicago Lawn Neighborhood. This park was first established by the South Park Commission in the early 20th century and remains to this day one of the larger parks in the city. It was named for the famous French Explorer Father Jacques Marquette. The Olmstead brothers helped design many of the park's amenities including it's golf course, which is one of the park's oldest features. Over the years new amenities were added and today the park has 16 tennis courts, 8 basketball courts, two outdoor volleyball courts, a fishing pond, and much more. Many holiday events are hosted in this park year round. So come out and have some fun!
