Chicago's beautiful North Shore Beach Park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in the Rogers Park Neighborhood. The name North Shore is derived from the town of North Shore, which once existed in this part of the city before it was incorporated into the City of Chicago. This beach park, along with 17 others fell under the control of the Chicago Park District in 1959. For many decades, Chicago residents and visitors have been coming here to go swimming or to catch some rays. So come out and have fun!
