Welcome to Chicago's Ogden Park located in the Englewood Community. This urban park is named after William Ogden, the first mayor of the City of Chicago. Ogden Park, along with nine others was established in 1905 in order to provide breathing space for overcrowded settlements. Both Ogden Park and nearby Sherman Park were designed by nationally renouned architects Daniel Burnham and Company and Frederick Law Olmstead. Today Ogden Park boasts numerous ballfields, a swimming pool, a playground for the kids, and more. Come out and have fun! To contact the staff please call 312-747-6572.
