What was once part of a railroad yard is now a beautiful Chicago urban park, welcome to Ping Tom Memorial Park located on the banks of the South Branch of the Chicago River in the Chinatown Community. This park was first established in 1991 and was expanded in the early 21st century. This park is named after local resident Ping Tom who established the Chinese American Development Corporation.
