Welcome to Chicago's Sacramento Playlot Park located in the Avondale Neighborhood. Like many of Chicago's playgrounds Sacramento Playlot Park was created after World War II in order to meet rising recreational demand. It is named after nearby street Sacramento Avenue which is a Spanish word for "Sacrament" and is also the Capital of the most populous State in the United States, California. Today this park boasts a playground, basketball courts, and more. Come out and have fun.
