Welcome to Strohacker Park in Chicago, Illinois. This is one of three urban parks to be named in memory of a firefighter who died in the line of duty on March 1, 1957. The other two parks are named in memory of Sylvester Pietrowski and George Donovan. This park was first operated by the City of Chicago in 1991. When visiting please don't forget about the brave men who died serving their community.
