Welcome to Chicago's Wentworth Park located in the Garfield Ridge community. This was one of many recreation areas established to meet the growing needs of the post World War II era. The park is named for John Wentworth who was born in the region, attended prestigious Dartmouth College and eventually served as Mayor of Chicago as well as in the House of Representatives.
