Though it is small in size, West Park is a very popular and very active Crystal Lake park and is home to the annual fishing derby on Crystal Lake itself. The park's swimming beach is very popular but when swimming in the lake one must keep a close lookout for Jason Voorhees (RecPlanet joke).
