Welcome to Meyer Woods Park, an oak grove oasis located across from the Tara Subdivision in Darien, Illinois. This small 10 acre park was once the site of a farm and it's cute red barn, built in 1913, is still standing today. This park also boasts a picnic pavilion with a 75 person capacity (for rental please call 630-655-6400) and a playground. Come on out and explore.

Darien Illinois Park Ordinances

*The following are prohibited in all city parks; alcoholic beverages, narcotics, motor vehicles, golfing, littering, weapons, fireworks, camping, glass objects.

*All dogs must be leashed (no longer than 8 feet) and waste removed.

*Small children must be under parental supervision at all times.

*Please use all athletic courts only for their designated purpose.

*To reserve a pavilion for a private event please call 630-968-6400.

*In order for an organized group to use the athletic facilities please obtain special permits.
