Burnidge Woods Park is a peaceful nature preserve in Elgin, Illinois that was first established in 1973. It is a great place for bird-watching and is home to white-tailed deer, owls, raccoons, hawks, and many others.

Elgin Park Ordinances
*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey 15 m.p.h. speed limit and all State of Illinois traffic laws.
*Don't be a litterbug. Please put all trash in proper containers.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages requires special permit.
*Do not disturb any plants or animals.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*All dogs must be leashed.
*All fires are restricted to picnic grills.
Please respect these ordinances as well as all local, State of Illinois, and United States statutes.
