Elgin Illinois Parks
Welcome to Carleton Rogers Park located in Elgin, Illinois. Before this small piece of land became a park it was the site of the local post office from 1902-1969. The United States Government gave this land to the City of Elgin and named the park after a pastor in a nearby church.

Elgin Park Ordinances
*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey 15 m.p.h. speed limit and all State of Illinois traffic laws.
*Don't be a litterbug. Please put all trash in proper containers.
*Consumption of alcoholic beverages requires special permit.
*Do not disturb any plants or animals.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at dusk.
*All dogs must be leashed.
*All fires are restricted to picnic grills.
Please respect these ordinances as well as all local, State of Illinois, and United States statutes.
