Welcome to Otter Creek Forest Preserve, a tallgrass prairie and wetland preserve in Elgin, Illinois. The first parcel of land was purchased in 1995 and the second one in 2001. Some of the resident wildlife include white-tailed deer, turtles, frogs, blue herons, and many others.
