Welcome to Ben Allison Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois.
Park History: This small park was originally known as the Scott Street Playground and was first leased from the City of Elmhurst in 1949 and developed a year later. In 1964 the park was renamed Ben Allison Park, in honor of the former mayor of Elmhurst. In 1981 the City of Elmhurst donated the land plus an additional 1.45 acres to it's park district. Today this park boasts two playgrounds for the kids and a sledding hill for cold winter days. Come on out and have fun!
Elmhurst Park Rules
*All Elmhurst Parks open at dawn and close at dusk. Lighted athletic facilities close at 11pm.
*The following must stay in designated areas, picnic grills, motor vehicles.
*All dogs must be leashed (no leash longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. *The following are all prohibited, alcoholic beverages, weapons, golfing, littering.
*The 10mph speed limit on the park roads is enforced.
