Elmhurst Illinois Playgrounds
Welcome to Glos Memorial Park located in Elmhurst, Illinois. This park was once owned by a woman named Lucy Glos, whose husband Henry was the first village president of Elmhurst. Mrs. Glos generously donated this land to the village for recreational purposes in the 1940's, but it was not until 1981 that the park was officially dedicated. Over the years many gardens have been planted in this beautiful park.
Elmhurst Park Rules
*All Elmhurst Parks open at dawn and close at dusk. Lighted athletic facilities close at 11pm.
*The following must stay in designated areas, picnic grills, motor vehicles.
*All dogs must be leashed (no leash longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. *The following are all prohibited, alcoholic beverages, weapons, golfing, littering.
*The 10mph speed limit on the park roads is enforced.
