Elmhurst Illinois Soccer Fields
Welcome to Golden Meadows Park in Elmhurst, Illinois. This piece of land was first purchased by the City of Elmhurst in 1973 with local bond money. In 1975, a "name the park" contest was held and Golden Meadows Park was the winner. In the mid 1990's this park's field served as an emergency landing site for ambulance helicopters. Local citizens can purchase garden plots in this park's community garden.
Elmhurst Park Rules
*All Elmhurst Parks open at dawn and close at dusk. Lighted athletic facilities close at 11pm.
*The following must stay in designated areas, picnic grills, motor vehicles.
*All dogs must be leashed (no leash longer than 6 feet) and waste removed. *The following are all prohibited, alcoholic beverages, weapons, golfing, littering.
*The 10mph speed limit on the park roads is enforced.
