The Fabyan Forest preserve is the most heavily utilized in Kane County. The property was once part of the "Riverbank estate" owned by George and Nelle Fabyan a couple who came to the region in the early 20th century. After they passed away Kane County purchased 235 acres of the land and created the Fabyan Forest Preserve. It not only boasts many opportunities for bikers and hikers but it also has an old windmill and a Japanese garden. Many couples like to have their weddings here during the spring and fall seasons. Come on out and have a blast!
