Heather Ridge Woods is a beautiful and natural park in Gurnee, Illinois. It has hiking trails and helps protect the habitat of hawks, owls, squirrels, and many others.

Gurnee Park Rules

*Parks are open from 8:00am until Dusk

*Please respect other's use of the park while you enjoy the park.

*The following are all prohibited; alcoholic beverages, firearms, loitering in parking lots, metal detectors, golfing.

*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.

*The following are not allowed in athletic areas or playgrounds, tricycles, bicycles, scooters, animals.

*Parents are responsible for child's conduct and supervision at all times. Use discretion as to your child's physical ability to use playground equipment.

*Games and sports may be played in designated areas only.

*All vehicles parked after dusk will be towed away at owner's expense.

*Organized league games and practices require permit.

*Stay on designated trails when hiking and show courtesy to the park's natural setting.

As long as you follow these rules then you are okay! Come on out and have a blast!
