Foley's Pond Park
Welcome to Foley's Pond Park, a small nature preserve in Highland Park, Illinois. In the late 19th century the Foley Family started a brick quarry on this land but about three decades later they hit an underground spring which resulted in the quarry being filled with water. Some of the resident wildlife include mallards, wood ducks, peregrine falcons, and many others.
