Welcome to Highland Park's beautiful Rosewood Park.

Park History: The land that makes up Rosewood Park was once part of the Julius Rosenwald Estate. One part of the estate still stands in the park today and that is the reflecting pool which was designed by the great architect Jens Jensen.

Flora and Fauna: The ravine environment of Rosewood Park helps protect the home of numerous plant and animal species. Some of the plants that grow inside the park boundaries include beeches, aspens, and junipers. Some of the wild animals who call this place home include white-tailed deer and numerous bird species. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this park boasts hiking trails, a swimming beach, and much more. Come on out and have fun!
