Welcome to the marvelous Wood Oaks Green Park located in Northbrook, Illinois just off of Interstate 294.

Park History: This park was first purchased by the Northbrook Park District in the spring 1975 for a price of just under $2 million. The park's sledding hill is unique in that it's actually man made. Today this park boasts the beautiful Lake Shermerville, a popular fishing and canoeing destination, a 1.25 mile walking trail, a full basketball court, ten tennis courts and a pro shop, and so much more. Come on out and have fun! The open field is not only good for soccer but also for kite-flying.

To contact the district office please call 847-291-2960.
