Welcome to Doug Lindberg Park, an active neighborhood park located on the shores of Lake Louise in Palatine, Illinois. The paved multipurpose Palatine Trail runs through this park and links up to nearby Maple Park to the south. The park also has an informal soccer field (meaning please bring your own goals), a ball diamond, and a playground.

When visiting any park in Palatine, Illinois please respect the rules.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at 11 p.m.
*The following activities require special permit; Camping, sales and solicitations, erection of temporary structures, amplified sound.
*Do not physically threaten or harm other park users, staff, or wildlife. Foul language is also forbidden.
*Public urination is strictly prohibited. Please use public restrooms.
*No dumping or littering. Please place all trash in proper containers and help keep the parks clean.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; skateboading, roller-blading, swimming, bicycling, sledding, boating, fishing, fires, softball, baseball, soccer. Please use all athletic facilities only for their designated purpose.
*Please respect all park property including trees, bushes, fences, athletic courts, buildings, etc.
*All children ages 4 and up must use the public restrooms for their designated sex.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws.
*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
