Palatine Illinois Parks
Welcome to the beautiful Wilke Marsh Nature Preserve located in Palatine, Illinois just off of U.S. Route 12. This is an undeveloped park that helps protect wildlife habitat for mallard ducks, blue herons, turtles, frogs, and many others.

When visiting any park in Palatine, Illinois please respect the rules.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks open at dawn and close at 11 p.m.
*The following activities require special permit; Camping, sales and solicitations, erection of temporary structures, amplified sound.
*The following are prohibited; threatening or harming other users or staff, foul language, public urination, littering, defacing public property.
*The following are only allowed in designated areas; skateboading, roller-blading, swimming, bicycling, sledding, boating, fishing, fires, softball, baseball, soccer. Please use all athletic facilities only for their designated purpose.
*All children ages 4 and up must use the public restrooms for their designated sex.
*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws.
*All animals must be leashed (no longer than 6 feet) and waste removed.
