Welcome to the Fox River Preserve located in Port Barrington, Illinois on the banks of the Fox River. This is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful landscapes in Lake County. It started off as an RV Campground but over the years has had many restoration efforts.

Wildlife: Fox River Preserve & Marina helps protect the home of numerous wild animals including blue herons, squirrels, raccoons, and egrets. Please treat their home with respect.

For the lover of the outdoors this preserve boasts over two miles of multipurpose trails, waters stocked with bluegill, crappie, walleye, and catfish, a 169 slip marina, and much more. Come on out and explore.
