Prospect Heights Illinois Parks
Welcome to Izaak Walton Park. This scenic park was renovated not too long ago and was the recipient of the Illinois Park and Recreation Association's Outstanding Parks and facilities award in 2001. Today this park boasts a scenic overlook to it's wetlands, a garden, and a large picnic shelter.
Prospect Heights Park Rules
*All parks and park buildings are closed from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m.
*No person may dispose of any solids of liquids in any swimming pool, river, or drain.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
*Except for people operating with special permit, all commercial sales and solicitations are prohibited.
*The following activities are prohibited on the park grounds; panhandling, sleeping, posting of banners, fishing, using foul language, removing plants or animals, climbing trees, littering, damaging public property, harrassing wild animals, possession of weapons, littering, open burning, disrespecting other users or employees.
*Nobody shall hold any special meetings or events without proper permits.
*Please obey all orders given by security officers.
*Please respect all local, State of Illinois, and United States statutes.
*No motorized vehicles without special permission
