Welcome to Skokie's Terminal Park. This piece of land was first purchased by the City of Skokie in the 1950's and known as Sharp Corner Park for many years. In 1991 a $127K investment resulted in a new playground, drinking fountain, picnic tables, walking paths, as well as improvements to the drainage system and athletic facilities. In 1994, a memorial was erected inside the park for a local high school teacher named Howard Custer. In 1995, an additional $127K was spent building a new picnic shelter with grills. Today this park has much to offer for those who come from near and far. Come on out and have fun.
