Washington Park is a community park located in Waukegan, Illinois along the banks of the Waukegan River. This park has a large natural area that gives home to turtles, frogs, raccoons, hawks, owls, squirrels, and many others. For the human visitor there are trails, a picnic area with grills, and a playgrounds for the kids. Come out and explore!

*All vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Illinois traffic laws.
*Please help keep the parks clean by disposing of trash in the proper containers. NO LITTERING!
*The following activities are prohibited; dangerous and/or boisterous behavior, playing of loud music, consumption of alcoholic beverages.
*Unless otherwise posted all parks close at sunset.
*All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
