Welcome to Memorial Park located in Wheaton, Illinois.
Park History: On June 30, 1921, the land that is now Memorial Park was purchased by the City of Wheaton from the granddaughter of Erastus Gray, a man who was one of the founders of the City of Wheaton. The City wanted it to be a Memorial Park in honor of the City's founders and the barn that stood on the property, the "Hale Street Barn," was remodeled to house the American Legion. This was the first park established in the City of Wheaton.
This park boasts public restrooms, a water fountain, a gazebo, and one tennis court. Come on out and have fun.
