Welcome to Howell Park in Evansville, Indiana. The Norman Red Rosby Pool has 8 lap lanes and a water slide and the Mater Dei Ball Diamond is lighted.
The wetlands section of Howell Park is one of only 5 urban wetland parks in the State of Indiana, Howell Wetlands located just west of the City of Evansville. This nature preserve has boardwalks and interpretive designs, making it a popular field trip destination for local school children. Some of the wild animals one can see here include white-tailed deer, snapping turtles, beavers, raccoons, muskrats, hawks, ducks, frogs, and blue herons. Please treat their home with respect when visiting. Come out and explore!
