Welcome to Geist Park located in Fortville, Indiana.
Park History: In 1982 a private corporation generously donated 15 acres of land to Hamilton County and Geist Park was established. An additional two acres were made possible due to a $50K donation from Patrick Verble. In 2000, a shelter building, playground, and restroom, were added. This small wetland oasis on the banks of Fall Creek is an ideal spot for wildlife viewing. This park also boasts a canoe launch, nature trails, angling opportunities, a picnic area, and much more.
