The City of Indianapolis first purchased the land that is Arsenal Park in 1918 for a price just under 20K. Over the year's the park's many amenities were developed and today it is known for it's beauty as well as being a popular playground. It has two tennis courts, a full basketball court, an open multipurpose field that is great for soccer and kite-flying, and more.
