Welcome to Raymond Park located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The city first purchased this land in 1971 for a price of $150K, it was previously a working farm operated by a man named Kenneth Pedigo. Raymond Park is considered a magnet park, that means it's designed to draw people of all ages and interests together for recreational experiences. The natural section of the park helps protect the home of nearly two dozen species of trees including oaks, hickories, sycamores, and beeches. The developed section of Raymond Park boasts Indy Island, the City's first indoor water park. Some of the park's other amenities including walking trails, basketball courts, and more. When visiting any park owned by the City of Indianapolis please respect the rules.
1. Unless otherwise posted all parks close at sunset and open at sunrise.
2. All animals must be leashed and waste removed.
3. All burning is restricted to picnic grills.
4. All Vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Indiana traffic laws.
5. Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages requires special permit.
6. All cyclists must stay in designated areas.
7. All sales and soliciations require special permit.
