Welcome to Pike State Forest located in Pike County in southwest Indiana.
Forest History: Most the acquisitions made for Pike State Forest were done in the decades of the mid 20th century from the 1930's to the 1950's.
Wildlife: Though small in size this forest boasts a variety of landscapes from rolling hills to the lowlands along the banks of the Patoka River. This forest helps protect the habitat of numerous wild critters including squirrels, raccoons, deer, and wild turkeys. Please treat their home with respect.
