Welcome to Leonard Park located in Speedway, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis named for the world famous Indianapolis 500 Speedway. This community park has many great things to offer the visitor including a half mile of walking paths, two lighted tennis courts that allow for night games up to 10:30 pm, an unlit sand volleyball court, and two softball diamonds. The park's two picnic shelters both have grills and one has a capacity of 45 people can be rented out to residents for a price of $45 a day and non-residents $65 a day, the other has a capacity of 50 people and rents out to residents for $65 a day and non-residents $95 a day. Obviously residents get a discount on the picnic shelters. To discuss reservations call 317-247-1227.

*All motor vehicles must stay in designated areas and obey all State of Indiana traffic laws.
*The following activities require special permit; flying remote control aircraft and camping.
*The following activities are not allowed under any circumstances; golfing, archery, horseback riding, setting off of fireworks.
*All dogs must be leashed and must stay off the playground areas.
*Please use all playgrounds and athletic facilities for their designated purpose only.
*Please respect all park property including athletic facilities, buildings, trees, bushes, etc.
*All burning is restricted to picnic grills.
